Advance Planning

OK, so we were speaking in Topeka, Kansas this week, but we got back to Kansas City before we hit our airplane to have a meal at one of our favorite restaurants.

Very deliberately to Jack Stack’s for bar-b-cue. You plan that thing at least a week in advance. You shoe horn in that visit so we can do it.

We had it timed down to the minute so we could fit that meal in and it was worth it. We had such a great time there. Sometimes spontaneity is great in a relationship, but sometimes a lot of planning is what’s required.

Absolutely, it takes some work and some investment in that anticipation to pull something great off.

Friend, think about what the two of you would enjoy together if only you could exert just a little bit of advance planning to get there.
