Staff Profiles--Meet JennaPosted by tower on Fri, 05/11/2012 - 10:25pm
She first visited in grade school and now is a student worker at Shine.FM and enrolled at Olivet Nazarene University. I just want you to know that when you give to God through giving to Shine.FM, you are giving to much more than just a radio station. You are helping prepare broadcast leaders that are impacting our world. Click the video to hear Jenna’s story. Then pray about what you can give in the next six weeks that will help close the projected shortfall of $20,000 as we end our fiscal year on June 30th. Dr. Bill Maeir on the documentary "Bully"Posted by tower on Fri, 04/13/2012 - 12:26pm
Indianapolis theaters and screen times are available here. From Dr. Bill:
This is the Department of Health and Human Services official website dedicated to bullying. The info is good (but fairly general). I do have a few concerns about the statements about gay and lesbian kids (some of which has been challenged by other researchers). If you haven't heard, President Obama appointed one of the nation's leading gay activists (Kevin Jennings, the former director of "GLSEN") to a key role in the department. This website was produced by an anti-bullying organization in Colorado, but can be used anywhere. It includes some excellent, easy to digest information for parents, teachers and kids: http://www.bullyingprevention.org/index.cfm/ID/9 Here's the website for "The Protectors"---the program developed by Paul Coughlin: Video on Demand: new video from NEEDTOBREATHEPosted by tower on Wed, 04/04/2012 - 10:34amGet More: needtobreathe, Keep Your Eyes Open, Music, More Music Videos MercyMe shares the story behind "The Hurt and the Healer"Posted by tower on Thu, 03/08/2012 - 4:27pm |
