She first visited in grade school and now is a student worker at Shine.FM and enrolled at Olivet Nazarene University. I just want you to know that when you give to God through giving to Shine.FM, you are giving to much more than just a radio station.

You are helping prepare broadcast leaders that are impacting our world. Click the video to hear Jenna’s story.

See Downhere's Marc Martel on American Idol?

Marc Martel of the Shine.FM band Downhere performed on American Idol with Queen Extravaganza, a cover band sanctioned by the surviving original members. Although we can't find a video from last night's Idol performance (if you do, put a link in the comments below), here is Marc rehersing for the upcoming Queen Extraganza tour.

This is the Department of Health and Human Services official website dedicated to bullying. The info is good (but fairly general). I do have a few concerns about the statements about gay and lesbian kids (some of which has been challenged by other researchers). If you haven't heard, President Obama appointed one of the nation's leading gay activists (Kevin Jennings, the former director of "GLSEN") to a key role in the department.

This website was produced by an anti-bullying organization in Colorado, but can be used anywhere. It includes some excellent, easy to digest information for parents, teachers and kids:
