It seems like once a year you get this hankering to have this family portrait. This was the week.
This was it. I do because I start to feel like sometimes these days feel like the longest days. But they are the shortest years and I’ve got to capture those and relish those.
So we pilled into the car. I got my tripod and we went to the beach and set up this photo.
It turns out the sun was sinking so fast we had to beat the clock in order to even capture this snapshot. I thought, “That is a perfect metaphor for how time is just passing in our lives.” And we need to relish the moment as a family.
Friend, think about that in your own relationship. What can you do this week to relish the moments you have together.
